The students have a name tag pinned on their shirts and they would stop at the flag that matched the color their name tag to get it hole punched. This is how they counted the number of laps everybody made. Conner and I were lucky enough to do this job. Well, actually I did the work while Conner hid behind me to keep away from the Romeo Bulldog!
Carter did great and was able to run almost the whole time! The students all ran laps around the track, and every so often they would change what the kids had to do. For example, they would have to run as fast as they could, or skip, or hold hands with a partner, etc.
Carter was even lucky enough to win a prize :)
Here is Carter with his girlfriend Elaine :)
