This year Josh took Carter bow hunting for the first time. Carter was so excited and proud to be able to do such a "grown up" thing! He couldn't wait to get all dressed up and go spend quality time with his dad.
Conner can't wait until he is old enough to start hunting too :)
Here they are all set up in the hunting blind. The trip went so well that they ended up going hunting together a couple of times this year. Josh got two deer this year, but neither of them were on trips out with Carter. However they did see one buck the first time they went hunting and the second time they saw 9 different deer!
Carter was so excited and thankful for Josh taking him hunting that he built him these Legos to keep on his bedside table. He is just a loving, thoughtful boy! He later even added a Lego Dad and Lego Son (a Lego man with shorter legs) holding bows to the collection :)
