On Saturday, we spent the day exploring more around Dublin. We got tickets to a Hop-On, Hop-Off tour so we were able to ride around on the bus to see some sites, and we got off at places that interested us more.
This is the Kilmainham Gaol, it is a former prison in Dublin and now is a museum. We heard it was a "must see" during our trip, just to see and hear about the history of the place. However, we weren't the only ones that heard that. There was at least a two hour wait to get in, so we took a picture of the outside and continued on our adventure :)
We made a stop at The Brazen Head. It is the oldest bar in Dublin. It was originally established in 1198. It was really cool inside, like many of the bars and restaurants, it is made up of many different rooms that are all just a little bit different from each other.
We got back on the bus tour, and it took us to St. Patrick's Cathedral. The church was so beautiful. The level of detail on every part of the building is incredible.
Next up on the agenda was a quick peek at the Dublin Castle.
After lunch we met up with a group for a tour of Guinness. After three days in Dublin, we found that Guinness isn't just a beer to them, it is a way of life. I think there was a big Guinness sign at every single bar and restaurant we saw.

On Sunday we were off on a road trip with Tim, Jessica, and Tim. We were headed over to Dromoland where Joel and Krista were getting married for the next leg of our trip. But we made a stop at the Blarney Castle along the way. Thanks for the ride Tom!

Before we went in the castle, we went for a walk around the grounds. It was all so beautiful, except for the creepy cave!!!!
In case the castle wasn't enough, they also had a mansion there :)
Into the castle now. The blarney stone is at the top of the castle, so you have to walk up a lot of old, small, worn steps to get up there.
We made it to the top and kissed the Blarney Stone, so watch out, we should have the gift of gab now :)
