Vacation in Muskegon

After our day at Michigan Adventure, we headed to the hotel so I could finish up my nap.  Mom and Dad woke me so we could head out to dinner.  (Note to Mom and Dad:  Don't wake me up after a long day in the sun and expect me to be well-behaved in a restaurant!)  After dinner we went to explore the area, and the first stop was the marina we were staying next to.  It was a nice little walk to help us cool down after a long day!

The next morning it was raining out, so we decided to go swimming in the hotel pool.  I put my swimmies on and took off.  I am turning out to be an excellent swimmer!
Next stop of the day was the Pere Marquette beach.  We had a lot of plans for the rest of the day, so we were there to build sand castles and play at the park.  No swimming at the beach for us today.

After we were all beached out, we headed over to Grand Haven for dinner and a walk around town.  My favorite part was checking out all of the fish decorated all around town.  We stopped to get our picture taken next to the shark because that was my favorite.

Our last stop for this leg of our journey was Putter's Creek for a little Putt Putt and Go Karts.  It was such a great time.  I think Putt Putt might be more my style for now because you don't have to worry about being quite all of the time!

And finally it was time for a super awesome Go Kart ride with Dad!

What a great family filled day!
