Santa Came!

Just as we had promised Carter, Santa came after Conner got home from the hospital.  And much to our delight, this was actually on Christmas morning!  This is something that we had hoped for, but weren't sure if it was realistic or not.

Here are some pictures from the morning.  Carter and Conner are both in their Christmas jammies, but Conner just loves to be wrapped up in blankets, so you can't tell quite how festive he really is!

Carter was VERY excited when we finally let him open the presents!

And he was very thankful for his tool set.  Now he can be just like Dad!

Here is a picture of Carter opening the rescue station from Santa.  You can see Conner snoozing in the background. This is how he looked all morning, so he didn't make as many of the pictures as Carter did.

Josh started to open the box up with one of Carter's screwdrivers, so Carter picked up his power drill to help him open the box.  Josh and I thought it was so funny, and Carter just didn't understand why we were laughing so hard!
