The eggs must have worked, because the Easter Bunny showed up that night. Carter found an egg filled with chocolate and stopped everything to eat it. That kid doesn't waste any time!
Eventually he got back to business and found their Easter baskets.
Naturally, I made Conner sit in his Easter basket just like I did with Carter on his first easter. He also, didn't seem to be a fan!
After we opened up the baskets, we all got ready and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Biskey's for lunch. Turns out there were more Easter Baskets there. Here is Conner with Aunt Jenny and Carter making funny faces.
Later, Carter helped Grandpa work on a puzzle. Must have been a tough one!
On our way back home, we stopped at Grandma and Grandpa Kirkbride's house. The camera stayed in the car, but we had a ton of fun there too. They got Carter a butterfly net and a bug house, so we went on an unsuccessful butterfly hunt. We are hoping for better luck next time, but Carter loved it anyway!
